A truck driver from the city of Kamyshlov, Sverdlovsk region had an accident. The man suffered a stroke, but employees of the State Traffic Inspectorate decided that he was drunk. In this respect reports Telegram channel Ural Mash.
“Roman was returning home from his flight. On the Yekaterinburg-Tyumen highway, he swerved and crashed into a dump truck – he could not say a word to the driver, called the traffic police. Police determined that the truck driver was drunk or on drugs. Even though Roman had symptoms (for example, he couldn’t lift his arm), they didn’t even suspect a stroke. They were only recognized by the man’s colleague when he arrived at the scene. He called for an ambulance in front of the employees,” the report states.
It was noted that the truck driver was hospitalized. The man’s condition is serious. According to preliminary data, no one helped Roman for six hours after the stroke. Traffic cops fined him for illegal parking. The trucker’s relatives filed a complaint with the inspectors.
Before that, general practitioner Andrei Zvonkov saidDriving can be fatal for people with cardiovascular disease, he said. Additionally, people with cataracts, glaucoma and those who have had a stroke should not drive.
According to him, in businesses with hypertension, if the pressure is above 140, drivers are not allowed to enter the line. A person whose blood pressure is over 100 to 200 may not know this. He gets behind the wheel and may suddenly lose consciousness.
