Ferrari launches a supercar dedicated to the historic victory in Hungary

A division of the Italian Ferrari Workshop specializing in creating special cars presented a special version of the Ferrari 296 GTB dedicated to the victory of Scuderia Ferrari in Formula 1 at the 2004 Hungarian Grand Prix. In this respect reports Carbuzz.

The special version will be released in five copies for the brand’s customers in Hungary. The car was given a racing suspension and an original front spoiler, which creates more downforce to use the car on the race track. The car seats are equipped with four-point seat belts and are decorated with Hungarian flags as well as outlines of the Hungaroring circuit.

A special version of the 296 GTB with a hybrid power plant based on a V6 engine with 819 hp. It is painted in the same red and white color combination as the 2004 Formula 1 cars. In the historic race in Hungary, Ferrari cars were driven by Michael Schumacher and Rubens Barrichello. They finished the race in first and second place and brought the team its sixth consecutive constructors’ championship.
