More than 1.1 thousand cars are waiting in line on the border of Russia and Georgia. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister of North Ossetia Irbek Tomayev at a staff meeting of the government of the republic. Interfax.
As Tomaev noted, the situation on North Ossetian roads is controlled by road services. He noted that the Georgian Military Road was closed to heavy vehicles on the morning of December 18.
“The vehicle accumulation (…) is 1 thousand 150, 744 of which are in the parking lot,” said Tomaev, emphasizing that the necessary assistance was provided to the drivers and passengers.
