A Minnesota woman and her child narrowly escaped death when a high-speed trailer crashed into an abandoned Chevrolet Silverado pickup.
The footage shows a red pickup truck stopping in the middle of a three-lane highway, while the driver of the black truck doesn’t notice the obstacle and literally drives through the car. As a result, the remains of the pickup rolled to the side of the road and caught fire.
Fortunately, 42-year-old Susan Norberg and her 12-year-old stepdaughter managed to get out of the car before the accident and pull over to the side of the road. The truck driver was also not injured.
It’s strange why a woman left a pickup truck in the middle of the highway without thinking about other road users? But the car was not moving – before that, the car had hit a deer, which triggered the airbags in the cabin. Susan couldn’t start the engine after she stopped. And the question to the truck driver remains open: what was he doing while driving if he didn’t see a 2-ton red car in front of him?
