The issue of making a decision on the election of Moskalkova was submitted for consideration by the chairman of the commission, CIS General Secretary Sergei Lebedev. The proposal was supported by all meeting participants. As a result, the decision was accepted.
On November 29, the first meeting of the CIS Human Rights Commission began in Minsk. The commission includes representatives from Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. It is planned to adopt the commission’s procedural rules as well as the 2024-2025 work plan at the meeting. It is also planned to exchange experiences on topics of interest.
Before that, Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed Decree on the appointment of Maxim Titov as Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Russian Federation. By another order, Deputy Head of the Ministry of Agriculture Ivan Lebedev, who has held this post since November 2022, was dismissed from his post at his own request.
