Deputies of the LDPR group, led by leader Leonid Slutsky, developed a bill aimed at reducing transport taxes for privileged categories of citizens, regardless of the engine power of the car. In this respect report Izvestia refers to Slutsky’s press service.
According to the new draft law, beneficiaries will not be deprived of the right to reduced tax if the engine power of the car is exceeded. At the same time, the amount of tax will be reduced in each case by the amount of horsepower on which the benefit is established. Thus, the vehicle owner who is entitled to assistance will only pay tax for the excess power used.
According to Slutsky, this innovation will allow citizens to purchase a car that suits their needs without sacrificing tax advantages.
Before that, the State Duma had adopted it in the first reading. invoiceAccordingly, the vehicle owner will be able to delete the registration of the vehicle in case of theft. The bill aims to simplify the rules for vehicle registration. According to the document, if a car has been stolen and is officially wanted, upon application of the owner, the vehicle may be deregistered and therefore, for example, transport tax may not be paid.
Additionally, the bill is designed to allow a car’s registration to be deleted immediately after sale, rather than after 10 days as is currently the case.
