“At 13:00, municipal crews carried out continuous preventive de-icing on the road. “From 23:00 we will start continuous mechanized sweeping of roads and sidewalks, after which we will carry out de-icing again,” said Biryukov.
Tractor duty was organized to assist truck drivers, especially on the Moscow Ring Road and TiNAO.
The head of the municipal services complex called on Muscovites to be extremely careful and careful on sidewalks and roads and, if possible, to reschedule trips by car.
How stated Evgeniy Tishkovets, leading expert of the Phobos meteorological center, said that snowstorms will begin in the capital in the evening of November 23, visibility will decrease to 1-3 kilometers, the height of the snow cover will be 2-4 cm, and on Friday night visibility will decrease to 200-500 meters.
On November 24, the snow cover in the capital will increase to 5-7 cm, and on the weekend it will increase to 8-9 cm, which is the norm for the first ten days of December. There will be snowfall next week as well, as a result, the snow cover will reach 10-15 cm on Monday.
