Russia broke a record for new passenger car sales in one week in 2023. In this respect reports with reference to data of the analytical agency “Avtostat”, “Passport Industrial Consulting”.
According to the results of the 44th week of this year (October 30 – November 5), 28.3 thousand new passenger cars were sold in Russia. The last time more cars were sold was in the 9th week of 2022 (38.5 thousand units).
Last week, Lada became the market leader with a share of 30.8%. This was followed by six Chinese brands: Haval (12.8%), Geely (10.4%), Chery (9.8%), Changan (5.4%), Omoda (3.9%) and Exeed (3%) ,8). Kia (2%), Toyota (1.7%) and Jetour (1.6%) completed the top 10. The most popular cars in the model rating were Lada Granta, Haval Jolion, Lada Vesta, Niva Travel and Niva Legend.
