Over the past year and a half, the cost of vehicle maintenance at dealers in Russia has increased by 30-100%, report Izvestia, citing interviewed industry representatives.
The Russian Association of Automobile Dealers (ROAD) told the publication that the price of planned maintenance services has increased by up to two times from the beginning of 2022 to the present.
“Of course, spare parts and consumable costs have increased since the beginning of last year. “The exchange rate was effective in this, because purchase prices changed with it,” said Vyacheslav Zhigalov, deputy chairman of ROAD.
Avtodom Altufyevo after-sales service manager Roman Timashev stated that vehicle maintenance prices have doubled, including increased spare parts prices, and did not rule out the possibility of further increases in prices.
Interlocutors at two other dealership centers told the publication that the cost of maintenance had increased by 30-40% during the year.
