The UAZ company informed customers that payment for the delivery of cars to official dealer showrooms will now be included in the sales price of Ulyanovsk brand cars. This is stated in a letter socialbites.ca received from the company, where it is emphasized that the reason for this step is the uncontrolled increase in tariffs for vehicle delivery in Russia.
“In the second half of this year, UAZ faced a sharp and uncontrollable increase in tariffs for logistics services, as a result of which the cost of transportation of finished products across Russia has more than doubled since the beginning of 2023. In this regard, starting from November 1, the company was forced to impose partial compensation in the amount of 50 thousand rubles for the cost of delivering cars to dealer centers,” he said.
Company representatives emphasized that these costs will already be taken into account in the price lists of UAZ cars, and the official recommended retail prices (RRP) of all models will not change. UAZ also promised that when ordering a car through its website, it can be picked up directly from the factory in Ulyanovsk within 3-6 months without additional payments of 50 thousand rubles.
