A Russian dealer is trying to sue Renault for half a billion rubles

Russian car dealer RTDS Center, which was previously involved in official sales of Renault cars, is trying to sue the French company for damages of more than 0.5 billion rubles. In this respect reports TASS, with reference to data in the file of the Moscow Arbitration Court.

The Russian company filed a statement of claim for 534 million rubles on October 25. However, there is no information in the case file about the reasons why the former dealer tried to collect a large amount from Renault.

RTDS group of companies was founded in 1991 and opened the first official Renault dealership in Russia in 1994. After Renault left Russia, the RTDS dealer began selling and servicing cars of Chinese brands Changan, Omoda and Chery. It also continues to service Renault vehicles.
