Mitsubishi at the Japan Mobility Expo in Tokyo showed D:X concept in the style of the popular Delica all-wheel drive minivan.
The D:X concept is positioned as a six-seater car for outdoor enthusiasts. It is distinguished by short overhangs and massive plastic protection in the lower part of the body.
“Mitsubishi D:X is a concept car that combines the best of Mitsubishi Motors technologies, namely our electrification and all-wheel drive technologies,” Mitsubishi CEO Takao Kato said at a press conference.
Car seats can move up and down and can also be rotated around their own axis. The front panel and seats are decorated with brown genuine leather. The concept is equipped with a rechargeable hybrid powertrain and can be used as an electric car for day trips and its hybrid drive for long-distance journeys. It also features proprietary Super Select all-wheel drive.
