Chinese automaker Hongqi plans to launch new car models in Russia in 2024. This was reported by the press service of the brand. We can talk about the Hongqi HQ9 minivan and the Hongqi HS3 crossover.
The length of Hongqi HQ9 is 5222 mm and the wheelbase is 3200 mm. The minivan’s interior layout is seven-seater, with room for three passengers in the third row. The car is equipped with a two-liter engine producing 252 hp. It is mated to a 48-volt starter generator and an eight-speed automatic transmission.
The Hongqi HS3 crossover was first introduced at the Shanghai Auto Show this spring. The body length of the SUV is 4655 mm and the wheelbase is 2770 mm. The engine range includes two turbocharged units: 1.5-liter with 168 hp. combined with a two-liter engine (252 hp) working with a seven-speed “robot” and an eight-speed automatic transmission. In the first case, acceleration time to “hundreds” is 9.9 seconds, in the second – 7.2 seconds.
The equipment list includes a panoramic sunroof, two 12-inch screens in the cabin, two platforms for wireless charging of devices, a keyless entry system, adaptive cruise control and electrically adjustable and ventilated seats.
