According to the publication, 30% of Lexus sales in 2021 came from Russia and Ukraine. Thus, last year the company sold 72,441 cars on the European market, of which 19,638 were bought by residents of the Russian Federation and 1,881 in Ukraine.
After the start of special operations in Ukraine, the supply of Lexus vehicles to Russia was suspended indefinitely. In April this year, the brand’s Russian dealers sold 1,738 vehicles, which is 76% less than a year ago. According to Lexus, the brand’s April sales in the European market amounted to 17,142 units.
