Isuzu’s gas-powered bus exploded in Uzbekistan. In this respect reports TASS with reference to the Ministry of Emergencies of the Republic. The incident took place on the Karshi-Bukhara highway.
The statement said, “As a result of the incident, 4 people were injured and taken to the district hospital.”
There were 24 people on the bus at the time of the explosion, and they were also provided with outpatient treatment and psychological assistance. There is no explanation yet as to what caused the bus explosion.
It is stated that 70 percent of vehicles in Uzbekistan run on natural gas. Explosions of buses and cars often occur in the country due to improper operation and maintenance of such equipment.
