Jetour will introduce three SUVs codenamed T1H, T1P and T1L in 2024. The last two will be equipped with a hybrid powertrain. Two more models will enter the market in 2025: the T-2 and R-2 off-road pickup truck. The first will compete with the Tank 300 model, and the second will compete with the Great Wall Pao.
The cars will receive a hybrid system based on 1.5 and 2.0 turbo engines from Chery, allowing them to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 240 km/h. With electric power, cars can travel up to 165 km, have a range of 1.4 thousand km and fuel consumption of 4.2 l/100 km.
As of the end of September, Jetour’s 2023 global sales reached 184 thousand vehicles, an increase of 67.4% compared to the previous year. Since Jetour entered the market in 2018, the company has sold more than 800 thousand cars. The Jetour model range in Russia includes the X90 Plus, X70 Plus and Dashing crossovers.
Jetour General Manager of International Markets Jack Chen said “socialbites.ca” that the company plans to start producing cars in Russia.
