Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Relations and leader of the LDPR, Leonid Slutsky, sent for finalization to the Russian government a bill that would halve the amount of transport tax for drivers who do not violate traffic rules during the year. “Today, a bill has been sent to the government for review, which will reduce transport tax by 50% for drivers who drive without breaking the rules during the calendar year. Cultural and responsible factors deserve praise, including financial praise,” noted Leonid Slutsky.

According to him, halving the transport tax will motivate professional drivers to avoid dangerous situations and will be a pleasant bonus for drivers.

State traffic inspectors of the two countries will exchange information about violators of the rules, including those whose cars were recorded by traffic cameras.
