In the Russian second-hand car market, the prices of cars over 10 years old increased the most from the first quarter of 2022 to the third quarter of 2023. In this respect reports marketing agency NAPI with reference to its own analysis of the dynamics of average prices of used cars.

“While the biggest increase in price is cars over 10 years old (+8.6%), the second place in terms of growth rates is occupied by “new” used cars (up to 3 years old), whose average prices increased by 4.1%. The study states that the price of cars between 7 and 10 years old increased by 3.9%.

For cars aged 4-6 years, the average price increased slightly by 0.3% in the specified period. Among cars older than 10 years, NAPI evaluated the value of cars not produced before 2000.

The average price of a used car over 10 years old increased during this period from 597.5 to 686.3 thousand rubles. The value of a car 7-10 years old is on average 1.58 million rubles, compared to 1.44 a year ago. The price of cars 4-6 years old increased from 2.34 to 2.57 million rubles, and the price of cars up to three years old increased from 4.78 to 5.49 million rubles.
