The transfer of Lada Largus production from Tolyatti to Izhevsk will require approximately 2 billion rubles. In this respect reports RIA Novosti quotes the company’s president, Maxim Sokolov.
“This decision, of course, required additional investments and we made adjustments to our investment program. The process of relocating Largus to Izhevsk will require an additional 2 billion rubles. This model is very popular, it is quite marginal, so we hope that these investments will pay off handsomely,” said Sokolov.
In mid-August, AvtoVAZ announced the end of production of Lada Largus in Tolyatti. In September, equipment transfer will begin to the facility in Izhevsk, where Largus will go into production in 2024. The transfer of production is connected with plans to increase production of the updated Lada Vesta at the main plant in Togliatti.
