Police detained two people who attacked a Ukrainian taxi driver in Gdansk. In this respect reports wprost.pl.
It was noted that two Poles ordered a taxi to the airport, and the car was driven by a young Ukrainian. On the way, the driver drew the attention of the front passenger to make sure he was not drinking alcohol in the vehicle. The passenger did not comply with this request and started insulting the driver. At the same time, the second man said he would take the car away.
When the taxi stopped at traffic lights, the passenger hit the Ukrainian in the face, then the driver started to call for help by spraying pepper gas. Then the passengers got out of the vehicle and disappeared.
The police put the perpetrators on the wanted list. The first man was arrested immediately. The second was detained two days later while trying to fly to Norway. A criminal case was filed against those detained. There is no information about what they are facing.
