Sollers plans to restart the former Isuzu plant (now Sollers Comtrans) by the end of 2023. In this respect reports TASS reports about the vice president of the company Zoya Kaika. The company will produce a new series of cars.
“We expect to produce the presented line in Ulyanovsk at the end of the year,” said Zoya Kaika.
According to him, these will be cars that will help the company maintain the market share previously occupied by Isuzu cars in the Russian market. There is no information about which models will be produced at the former Isuzu facility.
It happened before that knownProduction of Sollers ST6 pickup trucks started in Vladivostok. The vehicle is equipped with a four-wheel drive system with reduction gear. The engine range includes 2.0-litre petrol (176 hp) and diesel (136 hp) engines with a six-speed manual transmission.
The gasoline version of Sollers ST6 was worth 2.4 million rubles, and the diesel version was worth 2.5 million rubles.
