In August 2023, sales of new electric vehicles in Russia reached 1,474 vehicles; this is 8.2 times more than in the same month of 2022. In this respect informs with reference to the data of the analytical agency “Avtostat”, JSC “Passport Industrial Consulting”.
Among the brands, Zeekr showed the best results – 285 cars of this brand were registered in Russia in a month. It is followed by Evolute (191 cars), Volkswagen (165 cars), Tesla (140 cars) and Hongqi (106 cars).
The most popular electric car model for August was the Zeekr 001 (244 cars were sold in August). It is followed by Volkswagen ID.4, Hongqi e-HS9, Evolute i-Joy and Tesla Model Y.
