Neftekamsk resident Anna (not her real name) told socialbites.ca that she and her daughter were at the bus stop, but “miraculously” did not suffer serious injuries. According to him, the reason may be that the brakes of the bus are not working.

“I was sitting on the side bench with my daughter, we didn’t even understand how the bus got into the bench from the back. Miraculously, we did not suffer any serious injuries, we were simply thrown forward. Four are seriously injured. The cause may be brake failure. We stepped aside, the ambulance came in 10 minutes, there were three ambulances. It was very frightening: there was panic, there were screams of pain, many people screamed to call an ambulance,” he said.

The girl added that the speed of the bus was low at the time of the collision.
