Volkswagen Group could face a shortage of spare parts on its assembly lines in September 2023. In this respect informs TASS with reference to the DPA agency.
It was noted that a large enterprise producing spare parts in Slovenia was damaged due to the flood. According to the representative of the concern, in September not all automobile production plants will be able to get enough spare parts, and therefore there may be interruptions in automobile production.
The Volkswagen representative did not specify which Slovenian manufacturer in question.
More than 10,000 homes were flooded in Slovenia due to severe flooding. Damage from the elements is estimated at several billion euros.
