The length of the new Volkswagen Passat is 4917 mm. The new interior is designed to resemble the Volkswagen Tiguan. In front of the driver is a 10.25-inch instrument display. The media system can have a 12.9- or 15-inch diagonal touchscreen, with touch strips underneath for climate control.
The car will be available with gasoline and diesel engines as well as hybrid power plants. The vehicles will go on sale in the European market in the first quarter of 2024. The assembly of the station wagons will be transferred from Germany to the Volkswagen plant in Slovakia.
