In Russia, sales of Chinese all-wheel drive Dongfeng DF6 pickup trucks began at a price of 3.29 million rubles. This was announced by the company “Motorinvest”, the automobile distributor of the brand.
In the basic configuration, Dongfeng DF6 is equipped with a 2.5-liter engine with a power of 136 hp. (305Nm). A 2.3-liter unit (163 hp; 280 Nm) is offered in more expensive modifications. The engines are combined with a 5- and 6-speed manual gearbox, as well as an 8-band “automatic” gearbox. In all trim levels, the pickup truck has all-wheel drive with a rigidly coupled front axle and a reduction gear in the transfer case.
Dongfeng DF6’s body length is 5310 mm, and the length of the cargo compartment is 1520 mm. A vehicle with a permissible gross vehicle weight of 2499 kg is not subject to the restrictions for commercial vehicles over 2.5 tons. In the maximum configuration, the pickup truck received a surround view system, a 9-inch multimedia screen, climate control, keyless entry, eco-leather seat trim, a set of security systems and other options.
