The Russian automotive market, which declined from the top five European leaders in June 2023, returned to the fifth place, surpassing Spain last month. In this respect informs autostat.ru refers to data from the national associations of automakers in Europe.
Germany ranks first in Europe in automobile sales. In July 2023, 243,277 cars were sold in this country (+18.1% compared to the same month of 2022). The UK is in second place with 143,921 vehicles (+28.3%). The third result was shown by France – 128 thousand 947 cars were sold (+ 19.9%). In fourth place is Italy, whose dealers sell 119,207 cars (+8.8%).
Russia is in the fifth line of the rating. According to the results of July, automobile sales amounted to 95 thousand 654 with an increase of 2.7 times. Spain ranks sixth with 81,205 cars sold in the second month of summer 2023 (+10.7%).
