Motorinvest company (Russian distributor of Dongfeng cars) offers the Dongfeng DF6 pickup truck to the Russian market. This was reported in the Motorinvest publication received by socialbites.ca.
“At the start of official sales, the Dongfeng DF6 will be available in three versions: Comfort, Premium and Luxury. “The model will offer customers a wide range of options for comfortable and safe movement, from air conditioning to keyless entry, cab and multi-directional cameras.”
The Dongfeng DF6 pickup truck with a four-door five-seater cab will be available in the Russian Federation with two diesel engines. Engine 2.5 develops 136 hp. and produces 305 Nm of torque. The 2.3 engine produces 163 horsepower. and 380 Nm of torque.
Depending on the version, the cars are equipped with a five- or six-speed manual gearbox or an 8-speed automatic transmission. The pickup truck has a plug-in all-wheel drive with reducer, the ground clearance of the car is 220 mm. The allowable gross weight is 2499 kg, which allows the vehicle to avoid restrictions for trucks heavier than 2.5 tons. Prices for the new products and the start date of sales have not yet been announced.
