“Experimental markings will be applied on eight sections of state-owned highways, whose speed limit has been increased to 110 km/h and 130 km/h. Two of them are located in the Moscow region – on the Central Ring Road (TsKAD),” says the Avtodor report.
Also, new signs will appear on sections of the M-4 Don highway in the Voronezh, Rostov, Lipetsk regions and on two sections of the M-11 Neva toll highway in the Tver and Leningrad regions.
The marking will be made in the form of arrows or strip corners, the distance between them will correspond to the required safe distance between cars. In parts of the route where the maximum speed is set to 110 km/h, the distance between the marking elements is 55 m, and where the maximum speed is 130 km/h, 65 m between the “corners”. .
