A traffic policeman in the Amur Region issued false fines to improve service performance and paid them himself, informs Baza Telegram channel.

Traffic police inspector Oksana Zherevchuk from the city of Belogorsk drew up protocols for six malicious reckless drivers for violating traffic rules, and then paid their fines on her own. Zherevchuk’s colleagues noted that for one reason or another, he encountered only six people every day, some of whom were fined, and one of the reckless drivers was in jail at the time of their violation.

When checking, it turned out that the drivers did not sign the protocols prepared for them, but someone else signed for them. The inspector transferred money for penalties from his personal card and spent a total of 15.5 thousand rubles. He is now facing a criminal case under articles on abuse of power and fraud, according to the report.
