The LDPR fraction has prepared amendments to the Code of Administrative Offenses for submission to the State Duma, which provides for the abolition of a fine of 500 rubles for tinting the front side windows of a car. It was reported on the newspaper’s website “News” with reference to the explanatory note of the proposal.
Party representatives point out that car coloring is allowed in many countries. Parliamentarians state that the tinting protects from direct sunlight and reduces the heating temperature of the interior of the car.
The document states that the use of air conditioning in the car in hot weather significantly increases fuel consumption. But many drivers do not use it to save money, which negatively affects their well-being and, according to the authors, can lead to an emergency on the road. In this regard, the authors of the bill propose to provide drivers with the opportunity to use tinting on the front side windows. But they also see it as imperative that the windshield ban continue.
Formerly LDPR MPs made A bill designed to relieve the State Duma of responsibility for certain administrative violations that are not related to the possibility of creating emergencies and posing a threat to the life and health of other road users.
