Chery unveiled a hybrid version of the flagship crossover Tiggo 9 at the Shanghai Motor Show, called the C-DM. informs portal autohome.com.cn.
The novelty is equipped with a hybrid system based on a 2.0-liter turbo engine, a 3-speed DHT transmission and an electric motor. Fuel consumption is 4.2 liters per 100 km, and the cruising range exceeds 1.4 thousand kilometers. The all-wheel drive model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
It is noted that outwardly, the Tiggo 9 C-DM practically does not differ from the version with a conventional internal combustion engine. Tiggo 9 will be the largest crossover in the brand’s lineup (dimensions 4820x1930x1699 mm and 2820 mm wheelbase). The car will be available in five-seater and seven-seat versions.
At Chery’s Russia office said socialbites.ca reports that Chery Tiggo 9 is scheduled to be introduced to the Russian market in 2024.
