Irish driver Craig Breen, who represented Hyundai’s factory team in the World Rally Championship (WRC), has died in an accident. Representatives of the Hyundai Motorsport team announced this on social networks.
The incident occurred during pre-Rally Croatia tests and details were not disclosed. Craig Breen was 33 years old. Howarth media announced the news of Brin’s death with a photo of the Irish racer’s crashed Hyundai i20 N. Navigator James Fulton was not injured in the incident.
Craig Breen made his WRC Championship debut in 2009. Part of the Hyundai factory team since 2019, the athlete took second place in the last Rally Sweden.
