The organization “Russian Association of Self-Employed” has proposed the establishment of a three-year moratorium for pre- and post-flight medical examinations of taxi drivers, which will be implemented from September 1, 2023. “On September 1, the law “On the regulation of passenger and baggage transportation by passenger taxis in the Russian Federation” comes into force. At the same time, this law imposes a number of requirements that are impossible for them to fulfill, ”says the document at the disposal of Izvestia.
Among the requirements, it is stated that mandatory medical examinations before and after the trip, as well as a check of the technical condition of the vehicle. At the same time, the authors of the appeal note that the requirements are not applicable due to the lack of a sufficient number of medical examination points in regional centers and 24-hour structures. According to the authors of the objection, it will take three years to establish the necessary infrastructure.
