The Russian automobile plant Toyota in St. Petersburg was transferred to the state federal state unitary organization “NAMI”. In this respect informs TASS, with reference to the press service of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.
“At this stage, the Toyota production plant in St. Petersburg passed to the state in the person of FSUE NAMI, subordinate of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the agreement refers to the complete transfer of ownership of the plant building, equipment and land,” the ministry quoted the agency.
The Ministry of Industry and Trade added that options are currently being evaluated to continue production at this facility. The option of transferring Toyota’s production assets in Russia to NAMI is being studied, knowledgeable March 16, Minister of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov.
