The Russian assets of the Japanese automaker Toyota, which has left the Russian Federation, will be transferred to the FSUE NAMI which is subordinate to the Ministry of Industry and Trade. According to the head of the department Denis Manturov, the relevant work is already underway.

Currently, the Toyota plant in St. Petersburg, which started operations in 2007, is at a standstill. And it is planned that the company’s unused plots will be transferred to the city for the later construction of an industrial park.

Previously, the assets of the Nissan plant in St. Petersburg were transferred to FSUE NAMI, after which AvtoVAZ announced their acquisition and confirmed plans to produce cars there under the Lada brand.
