Hyundai has posted the first images of the slightly updated Elantra on its South Korean website. By the way, at home the sedan is sold under the name Avante, and in some markets it is known as ithirty.
It is strange that the model was updated earlier than usual, since the seventh generation was introduced in March 2020. In addition, the novelty will go on sale this year.
The main changes affected the front of the car. These are narrower headlights with LED strips on top. The headlights are connected by a chrome strip.
In addition, the designers divided the radiator grille into two parts – the main grille and the air intake, between which there is a strip in the color of the body. There are also two fake air intakes along the edges of the bumper, which give the car a sportier look.
In the back, almost nothing has changed. Only the bumper received a pseudo-diffuser and a wide U-shaped element. It appears that there are more black elements and the red horizontal reflectors appear slightly wider.
Viewed from the side, the changes are almost invisible. Only two-tone wheels and a panel on the C-pillar, which took on a more complex pattern. It is framed by a thicker chrome trim.
Inside, only one change is the special eco-friendly materials and the greenish tint of the Sage Green upholstery.
More pictures will probably be posted in the coming days when hyundai publishes the technical specifications of the updated Elantra.
There are also some changes in the cabin.
