This model has been specially developed for the Chinese market and is only sold there. And in Russia – thanks to parallel imports. The model is produced in the FAW-Volkswagen joint venture under the Jetta brand.
Meet the Jetta VS5. Today, this is perhaps the main contender for the title of the most inexpensive European (for development) compact crossover. In Russia it can be purchased for 1.99 million rubles.
In terms of dimensions, the Jetta VS5 is identical to the well-known Skoda Karoq crossover, which is now difficult to find cheaper than 2.6 million rubles (we are talking about a new car without a run).
The secret of the Jetta VS5 price is that the car is somewhat simplified:
