It was noted that representatives of the relevant ministries and heads of microelectronics development companies discussed a strategy for the development and production of automobile components for controllers, sensors, control modules, sensor systems and other automobile components in Russia.
A source close to the Ministry of Industry and Trade noted that in the near future, design centers should prepare the relevant plans, which are prepared taking into account the needs of automobile factories. No information was given about when exactly the domestically produced chips for the automotive industry may appear.
