The Saipa group of companies from Iran plans to carry out a cooperation project with AVTOVAZ. The Asian manufacturer is counting on the supply of Russian engines, which are mainly used by AVTOVAZ for Lada Largus. They plan to equip cars produced in Iran under license from Renault.
Saipa will build a new car based on Renault Logan called L90 or Tander, equipped with Russian engines for Lada Largus,” said Mirzai Ghazi Abbas Moslem, advisor and official representative of the Eurasian Business Council for Iran.
