Mehdi Khatibi, CEO of Iran Khodro Industrial Group, announced the start of car exports to Russia. The Iranian company planned to do this last year, but it did not work out.
Special details about the timing of deliveries, as well as the certification of cars for Russia and the formation of a dealer network, Khodro’s representative did not disclose.

“By the end of this year, we will export about 2,000 Tara and Dena machines to the Russian market,” he said.
However, the unofficial deliveries of the Iran Khodro Tara sedan started last year. But, contrary to budget price statements, they were sold in Russia at a price of 1.77 million rubles.
