Lada, UAZ and GAZ Group cars were recognized as the most incendiary cars in 2022. The research was carried out by VSK Verzekeringshuis and made use of statistics of registered fires in cars with hull insurance taken out.
According to the insurance company, among the cars of the Lada brand, the Vesta model was burned most often. For UAZ it was a Patriot SUV, and for GAZ Group it was cars of the Gazelle family. Overall, domestic brands accounted for 24.2% of all car fire incidents.
Next in the anti-rating are Renault, Toyota and Hyundai – they were responsible for 12.1% of accidents respectively.
Of the trucks, Scania was recognized as the most incendiary: 6% of the fires.
