Toyota Century, a full-size sedan produced since 1967, has always been sold only in Japan. This car with a V12 engine is not cheap – from 20 million yen (about 10.6 million rubles).
But now it became known that Toyota is preparing for the release of the Century crossover. It is made on the basis of Highlander. But the novelty is much larger than the donor car and has two rows of seats with an incredibly spacious interior.
The new Century is expected to be 5.2 meters long, making it longer than the Land Cruiser. The wheelbase is extended by 3 metres.

The width of the new crossover is 1950 mm, and the height – 1750 mm. The empty weight will be up to 2200 kg.
It is also known with which power plant the crossover will be equipped. This is a hybrid, like the Lexus LC 500h and LS 500h, which is based on a 3.5 liter petrol engine.
crossing costs Toyota Century will be cheaper than a sedan – from 10 million to 15 million yen, that is, from 5.3 million to 8 million rubles. The novelty will appear in Japan in mid-2023. No details are yet known about the possible export of the car to other markets.
