Chairman of the Board of Directors and one of the shareholders of Sollers PJSC, Adil Shirinov, in a recent interview, spoke about the future plans of UAZ, which he is in charge of, about the next steps of the association as a whole.
In particular, the top manager outlined the development plans for Sollers as a car brand.
“In 2023, based on our industrial park in Ulyanovsk, we will definitely launch a new product under the Sollers brand,” noted Shirinov.
According to Shirinov, all Sollers plants: Sollers-Yelabuga, the former Mazda factory in the Far East, the Zavolzhsky Motor Plant and UAZ, will soon undergo personnel changes and reorganizations. As for the Elabuga site, it is worth recalling that Sollers has already started assembling JAC vans under its own brand there.
