According to him, the factory in the Chechen Republic plans to produce 16,000 cars per year. Also in the republic it is planned to organize an industrial park for the machine-building industry.
The Chechenavto factory in Argun has been assembling cars since 2008. Automotive production in the republic arose on the territory of the former Soviet plant Pischemash. The VAZ-2107 sedans were the first to roll off the assembly line of the enterprise, and in January 2012 Lada Priora replaced the G7, which was later replaced by Lada Granta. Production of Gazelle Next trucks started in Argun in the fall of 2022.
