Volkswagen restricted service stations and official dealers access to service programs in Russia.

According to Alexander Pakhomov, chairman of the board of directors of the Russian Union of Auto Services, Russian dealers are now developing an action plan so that their customers are not left without support.

“Everyone comes up with a way to solve the problem. For example, Volkswagen dealers help each other and exchange files with the necessary data”, said Pakhomov.

Volkswagen announced the cessation of activities in Russia in March last year. Now the German car manufacturer is looking for a buyer for the Kaluga plant.
