This exhibition is rightly considered the most important event in the world of vintage cars in Russia, and it is no coincidence that it is held in St. Petersburg. His Imperial Majesty’s Own Garage was founded here in 1907, this city also remembers the first automobile exhibitions of the Russian Empire, held under the patronage of the Imperial Russian Automobile Society, and the first car races for the Imperial Prize started from here.
This year, His Imperial Majesty’s Own Garage is 115 years old. Therefore, the “Oldtimer Gallery” will have a separate exposition – “Royal Departure”, for which the exhibits will be provided by the Special Purpose Garage Museum of the FSO of Russia.

The entire history of motoring in the Russian Empire is presented with full-color photo panels, luxurious royal cars, as well as authentic items of the time and unique documents that have not been exhibited anywhere to this day.
But this is of course not the only position. On an area of 7000 m². meters, similar to a large football field, exhibits are presented from the most interesting car and historical collections. You will see cars from the brands Benz, Chevrolet, Hispano-Suiza, Metz, Rolls-Royce, Zebra, Russo-Balt… But the car of Nicholas II’s favorite brand, Delaunay-Belleville, will be the greatest rarity. This “motorcycle” was once one of the most advanced and prestigious cars. At the Oldtimer Gallery you can see a Delaunay-Belleville HB4 Phaeton 24CV from 1911 and in perfect condition. Only 100 of these were made and not all of them have survived to this day.
The Museum of the Special Purpose Garage of the Federal Security Service of Russia, which became the general partner of the exhibition, will exhibit at ExpoForum not only cars from the time of the emperors, but also Aurus Sedan and Aurus Limousine.
If you’ve already visited the Oldtimer Gallery, you know that the same exhibits are never showcased here twice – each exhibit is unique, as is the theme chosen. And not without surprises.
This time one of the ExpoForum halls is transformed into a city from the past. But no more words – you will see for yourself. Let’s say there are also themed meetings waiting for you: fire trucks, urban passenger transport, cars of the countries of the socialist commonwealth – Hungary, the GDR, Czechoslovakia, car actors who starred in dozens of films, military equipment, record racing cars, muscle cars, hot-delivery and custom, Soviet and foreign car and motorcycle classics. Over 100 cars and motorcycles in all, as well as thousands of antiques.

“Oldtimer Gallery” is held in the hall f ExpoForum CEC: April 22 and 23 – 11am to 7pm and April 24 – 11am to 6pm. You can get here with a free bus from Moskovskaya metro station, or with your own car, leaving it in a free parking lot near the ExpoForum, where the Oldtimer Gallery will be held.
