The American company Jeep is recalling 1217 Grand Cherokee cars from the Russian market for repair. About informs rosstandard.

“Reason for Vehicle Recall: The Anti-Lock Brake System (HCU/ABS) Module Hydraulic Control Unit may detect the primary circuit pressure incorrectly. Because of this, traffic lights may be turned on without permission,” the message states.

It was noted that the recall campaign concerns cars that have been sold on the Russian market since 2018. In such machines the ABS blocks will be reprogrammed. Dealers will inform vehicle owners that they need to come to the service for free work.
