Changes have been made to the SDA, which expand the grounds for the unilateral cancellation of drivers’ valid entitlements.
In particular if it is confirmed that the driver has medical contraindications or previously unidentified medical limitations in operating the vehicle. This will be possible because the traffic police will have access to the database of the Ministry of Health, which contains all information about the medical examinations of drivers.
If the traffic police find out that the driver has a disease that the doctors had not previously diagnosed during the medical examination, the driver is offered to pass the examination again and obtain the rights, taking into account the new condition.
For example, if the driver’s eyesight has deteriorated, he must buy glasses and re-register the rights, taking into account these changes.
