Valery Vasilyev, deputy chairman of the Federation Council economic policy committee, said that Russia will experience a “road boom” next year, as it manages to make a breakthrough in road construction in 2022. It has been reported DEA News.

“Russia managed to achieve very important results in many sectors last year. And the most striking example is a breakthrough in the field of road construction. <…> I’m sure a road boom awaits us in the new year,” the senator said in an interview with the agency.

Vasiliev said that 2022 is one of the most difficult years for the Russian economy, but despite unprecedented early sanctions pressure, significant progress can be made in a number of indicators.
